What we do:
Please see the areas below which cover, in general terms, the areas we operate in. However, if you have a question which is not covered exactly by the headings below please get in contact, we may well be able to help you.
Consultation
We can provide a full consultation service for clients large and small, covering all aspects of the process of installing a fibre network, from initial concept to eventual connection. We can advise on the type of network you might be looking at providing; the best types of electronics and how to deploy them; the type of fibre, ducting and ruggedisation you will require for your project as well as the many different types of legal agreements you will require to achieve your objective.
Management
Once your network is installed and running, who will be there to manage your network? All Networks require constant monitoring to address the little niggles that rear up from time to time and to manage major failures should you be unfortunate enough to have them happen to you. We will manage and monitor your network both remotely and through our representatives in the major communications hubs throughout Britain to ensure that any disruption is kept as minimal as possible.
Planning
There are 2 basic areas of planning, Network and Legal. One provides for the actual structure of your network, how you will get enough bandwidth to where you need it and how you will control that bandwidth once it is there. The second aspect of planning is the actual legal necessities required to place your connections on land or structures belonging to others. We can organise both and integrate them into comprehensive, effective and structured plan, ready for us or others to roll out.
Broadband Service Provider
We provide a series of packages and bespoke solutions for all sizes and types of internet demand. As we control the distribution of our backhaul we can assign the amount of bandwidth you require to where you want it in the way you require. Whether you are an individual, a data centre or a multisite business we can ensure that you have the optimum provision for your requirements.
Electronics – Plan & Install
Different Wavelengths, Different Bandwidths, are you going to need 1 GB or 10 GB will the backhaul be DWDM, OSEA or EBD? As is usual on the cutting edge of technology there are many different ways of getting from A to B, some work together and some don’t. We can help make sure that the electronics you get are the ones that work. From backhaul to end user whether it is Ciena, Cisco or someone else we can source, supply and install, to make sure that your network communicates.
Fibre Installation
Our experience of installing networks at home and abroad provides us with all the expertise required to rollout your network. Our engineers will work with your planners, whoever they are, to map out your network and install it with minimal disruption to your normal work practices, and will not leave site until the entire network is fully tested and signed off. We are able to install Aerial, Underground and along ducts as you require.
Cable – Plan & Install
How do you know what type of cable is best suited to your network? Do you require Aerial? Armoured? Double or Single Jacketed? What wavelength is your network going to use? How many cores do you require? Our comprehensive experience allows us to select exactly the right cables for the network you plan and use our extensive worldwide contacts and suppliers to source the best cable for each leg of your journey to fibre optic connectivity.
Support
We aim to respond to all complaints or service interruptions within 2 hours, we have a dedicated phone line which will be answered by a human being 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, who will be able to get an engineer assigned to the problem immediately. Our network will be fully monitored so in most cases any issues will be being attended to before you even know there is a problem.
